A car and tractor trailer collided at milepost 22.4 in Allamuchy Township shortly before 11:40 a.m., Trooper Alejandro Goez said.
The center and right lanes were closed as of 1 p.m.
The cause and circumstances of the accident remain under investigation, authorities said.
